Department of Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering established in the year 2008 with an annual intake of 120 students. It has well qualified faculty members with excellent academic records and having rich experience in teaching as well as industry.

Vision
- To Produce Competent and Ethical Mechanical Engineers with a concern for the society & to uplift the quality of technical education on par with the Global Standards.
- To be a Centre of Excellence in Mechanical Engineering and Technology with a focus on Research and Development (R&D) activities.
Mission
- To impart sound knowledge to our students in various disciplines of Mechanical Engineering viz. Thermal, Manufacturing, Design, CAD/CAM and Industrial Engineering.
- To inculcate the students with engineering ethics, professional roles, corporate social responsibility and life skills and apply them for the upliftment of the society and modern world.
- To improve the students’ performance in University examinations, with an eye on Achieving University Ranks.
- To develop employability skills and entrepreneurship among our students.
