B.Ed Programme

REGULATIONS

The minimum entry level qualification for the B.Ed. degree programme is a Degree of three year duration in any discipline including Arts except Sociology or Science except geology with minimum 50% for OC, 45% for BC, 43% for MBC and a 40% for SC/ST or any Post Graduate degree with minimum 50% for economics and commerece. A mere pass in the examinations would be sufficient for physically and visually challenged candidates. All admissions are subject to the regulations of Tamilnadu Teachers Education University as amended from time to time

Educational Innovations and Management
Elective Courses (any one of the following)

Optional courses offered are:

Tamil

Mathematics

Physical Science

Biological Science

Economics

Commerce.

Practicum component includes 40 days of practice teaching in schools

Add on Courses :
Life skills, Computer applications, Yoga etc.

M.Ed Programme

 

Sanctioned strength - 35 students.

REGULATIONS

The minimum entry level qualification for the M.Ed. degree programme is B.Ed degree with minimum 50% marks.It is structured for candidates desirous of pursuing a P.G. Programme in Education and nurturing a Professional cadre of teacher educators. All admission are subject to regulations of Tamilnadu Teachers Education University as amended from time to time.
