********One of our student Dilip has won Zonal and District level and he is selected for the state level on 10th April at Chennai in Long jump. ******* ONE DAY STATE LEVEL WORKSHOP ON RESEARCH – STATISTICAL ANALYSIS ******* Indhira College of Education is going to conduct ONE DAY STATE LEVEL WORKSHOP ON RESEARCH – STATISTICAL ANALYSIS on 28.11.2014.******* Ms.B.Bhuvaneswari have secured Second place in SHOT PUT in District level Sports and Cultural meet held at chennai on 17-03-2014.

EVENTS

	Our youth Red Cross student(YRC) took part in the Disaster Management Training programme (community capacity building programme through exhibition and demonstration) at IIT campus, Chennai on 19.03.2015 conducted by National Disaster Response Force , Arakkonam. and our students also took part in the rally conducted by our District Collector to bring awareness on saving and preserving drinking water.
	St. Christopher's College of Education, Vepery, Chennai-7 Conducted Talents Day for various departments 1. Department of English - R.K.Narayanan's Short stories 2 .Department of Tamil - Literary drama 3. Department of Maths - Adds up 4. Department of Physical Science - Photo Hunt 5. Department of Biological Science - Bio Cartooning 6. Department of Commerce - Business Ethics Mime 7. M.Ed - Poster Making 8. General - Elocution Tamil &English 9. General - Chess Our students bagged either first or second in each event.Many colleges took part in this competition some of the participants to be mentioned are Loyola , Stella, Nazareth, Christopher, Meassi, New Begin, Vishwaksena, Our lady, Jaya, NKT, Vadaraniyam, IASE-Saidapet etc. Our students were able to complete with other city colleges and they won the appreciation of not only judges even the participants.
	Science Exhibition was conducted in our campus in which the exhibits prepared by our students teachers both working and non working models were exhibited.students from our group of institutions and school children visited the exhibition.
	On February 28th 2015 science day was celebrated by Physical science and Biological Science Department. Various programmes such as mime, Science talent, puppet show, skits etc.were performed by the students to depict their scientific inquiry.
	Our students took part in the talk show to expose their social responsibility.
	B.Ed Practical Examination was conducted on 9th and 10th March 2015. Their display and teaching were upplauded by the university examiners.
	Rangoli competition was conducted to trace out the creativity of the future teachers, some creative art for your sight.
	The Students of Indhira College of Education took part in the inter colligiate volley ball tournament at stella matituna campus. Our students were able to reach semi -finals. Most of the city colleges played and our students were not less than others.
	We would prouldly bring to your kind notice that the present B.Ed & M.Ed students were given an opportunity to take part in the campus interviews conducted by various institutions such as: 1.Sri.R.M Jain Vidyashram, 2.SRM Jain Vidyalaya, 3.Sri Nikethan Matric Hr.Sec.School, 4.Sri Nikethan Padasala, 5.Vishwaksena CBSE School, 6.Bharathidasanar Matric.Hr.Sec.School, 7.Subba Naidu Matric School Written as well as one to one interview were conducted. 52 of our students were placed with a good pay packages.
	The Students of Indhira College of Education were given yoga training as a part of academic activity. The training was given by volunteers who gave training in set of yogasanas and kayakalpam meditation to empower our students physical and mental well being.At the complition of the course certificates were issued to the students.
